Purchasing Bots

Recently, I've been getting a lot of questions regarding purchasing a copy of Bots. Bots will not be available until February of 2006, however starting November 1st, it will be possible to pre-order a copy. The cover price will be $10 with all the proceeds going to the Autism Society of America.

Contributing artists to Bots will be offered 1 copy at a 50% discount, for $5. Any other copies he or she would like would be at the full $10 cover price.

This is a not for profit project and the goal is to get as much money to the A.S.A. as possible.

Ad sales

Ad sales within Bots is starting to pick up. Some participants like Rob Sturk from Ignium Studios http://www.igniumstudio.com/ and Joel Klampert from Rood Graphics http://www.roodgraphics.com/new_rood_site_002.htm. As well as publishers l;ike Repercussion Comics http://www.repercussioncomics.com/ and websites like Buzzscope http://www.buzzscope.com/ and retailers like Time Capsule Comics and Collectibles in Cranston, RI http://www.thetimecapsule.com/.

Just some reminders

I wanted to just remind you all of a few things...

Any artist who is going to need his or her pic inked by one of our participating inkers, I need your pencils by Halloween to allow for enough time.

If you would like to donate your original to the auction, let me know and I will send you my mailing address.

If you would like to purchase ad space within Bots, the prices are $40 for a full page black & white ad and $25 for a half page.

We are also selling 11X17, high gloss, on a nice card stock, Bots prints, signed by the artist Randy "Rantz" Kintz. The prints are $14 via paypal ($10 for the print and $4 for shipping) to portalcomics@hotmail.com

The money from the ad and print sales is going to help with the production costs. Anything leftover will be donated as well.

I still cannot get the picasso to work properly, I apologize for not being able to post the print here. if you have not seen it posted on any of the threads where the project has been listed, e-mail me at autismproject@gmail.com and I'll send it to you.

Artwork is starting to come in. To date I've collected nearly 30 pices and they look great! This si going to be an excellent collection! Thanks so much to everyone!

What's new?

I'm starting to receive people's artwork and it is looking fantastic! This is going to be one heckuva collection! I'm having some difficulty installing the picasso software necessary to post images here, that is the reason there are none. :) Hopefully, I'll get that figured out soon.

Artists, remember if you are going to need your pics inked by one of the participating inkers, get it to me by Halloween so there's enough time.

Don't forget to place your order for the official Bots print, autographed by Rantz himself! Just $10 plus shipping via paypal to portalcomics@hotmail.com and we'll get one in the mail to you right away!

We still have plenty of ad space for your studio or your upcoming project. Just $25 for a half page and $40 for a whole page. Also via paypal to portalcomics@hotmail.com.

Keep checking "The List", new names are added every day!
